Revelations of Bush's blitz

The successful Blitzkrieg launched by Washington against Iraq, has proved that Bush was wrong, and the UN Security council was, at least theorically, right.

Since no evidence of a real threat of wmds has been found so far, it is obvious that Bush could have saved the Nation, over $100 billion, the lives of more than a hundred American soldiers and last, but not least, of thousands of iraquis, both civilian and soldiers, just by pemitting that UNICOM could finnish the work they were already doing.

Besides, the easy American victory that provoked the virtual fading of the entire Iraqui military power in 21 days is a proof that Baghdad posed no threat to the national security of the United States.

No real and serious "smoking gun" related to any real link between the dictatorship of Saddam and the terrorist organization Al Qaedda has been found. In other words there is not a link between Iraq and the 9-11 terrorist attack to the NY twin towers. At least, after 22 days of war and the crumbling of the regime not a real link to Islamic Terrorism has been found.

How can an army that practically "evaporates" be a threat to a super power at the other side of the world, with oceans, seas and continents of separation? Besides, Iraq has an unreliable army with no Armada, no Navy, neither air power. Its menacing and defiant talks, has been the "mother"of all belicist bluffs.

As former president Clinton an other prominent politicians have said, Iraq was not behind the 9-11 terrorist attacks and the war has not been a "cakewalk", neither a "quagmire'. And there are no significant caches or arsenals of wmds either.

Therefore, this war will remain as one of the greatest fiascos of History and, unless the cadaver of Saddam is found, his phantom will eternally be a big shadow over the Bushes (father and son), and a taint over the great values of common sense (rationality) of the United States of America.
